Generally speaking I really dislike books about dinosaurs. However, if you have a child who is interested in dinosaurs this book the best one I have ever seen. It is actually an interesting book to read because you learn something about palaeontology, the process by which fossils are created and their excavation, the history of our interest in dinosaurs, museums, geologists and more.

The illustrations are lovely and the text is well written and ordered. The books is written for children who are learning to read, pitched at around primary 3.
