This book is part of a series of books introducing phonics to new readers. You may find the whole set useful, but this one is worthwhile on its own. It introduces some of the more difficult compound-letter phonics that children may want a little extra revision of.

It has nice colourful illustrations and a nice layout. Primary 1-2 school children can read it to support their schooling, but it s so nicely made that younger children will enjoy reading is as well. They can read it as preparation for learning to read.
