A children’s picture story book introducing the numbers 0-10. The storyline that acts as the excuse for counting is imaginative and cheerful; the illustrations are nice.

This book manages to capture your heart. You feel for the plight of the teddy and you are relieved at the end when he manages his aim. A sweet book to share with a little person. The choice of vocabulary is nice also.

I find that I am giving positive reviews to many of Julia Donaldson’s books! Her books often seem simple but have much hidden depth.
