Pollyanna is the story of an orphan girl who is taken in by an uptight, unloving aunt. With time however, the little girl inspires joy and openheartedness - not to her aunt alone, but to the entire village.

The book is about this question: how can we turn unhappy circumstances into joyful lives? The book gives a  profoundly Christian answer to the problem. I will let you find it yourselves.

The story is sweet and nice to read. Although the message of this book is for each and all, the book itself might be a bit ‘girly’. I say that because it does not have much action in its plot line.
