This book is a proper antique from the 1930's. It tells lovely (proper) old school kids tales and is decorated with great illustrations. The stories will intruige younger children, the drawings are a glimpse from a world past. Reading this book, you step back into the past with your children and enjoy one of its treasures together.

I would suggest reading this book aloud to children to help them approach it and appreciate how wonderful it is, even to a 10 year old. As it is an older style than they may be used to: it may not fill their eye when they first come across it but it will fill their heart.

I read the book digitally on https://www.sherwoodkids.com (but you need to pay a subscription for this site), though a few hard copies can be found online. If you are not able to find this copy, I am confident that a different similar publication by Frederick Richardson will be very similar.

If you would like to buy this book and support this site at the same time, you can buy it here.
