Sometimes I wonder if 'Charlotte's Web' did not become one of the U.S's top children's classic stories because it is a book that is loved by adults. It certainly has a lot of the elements that adults would like to have in children's books. Nevertheless, it is a good book that children will enjoy also.

It explains that you 'lift up your life a trifle' if you do kindness to others.It deals with the issue of death and shows how the world continues to go on after such a previous tragedy. The story explains how one can make their brief life matter.
