You might pass this book by thinking that it is just another cute-but-really-about-nothing Christmas themed book, that has nothing to do with Christmas, but just wants to sell at Christmas time. This book could have been that, except it escapes this utter mundaneness! The story actually depicts something very much to do with the real Christmas.

Through the actions of a little robin bird we see that charity and love for others is a wonderful thing, rewarded by the heavens, appreciate by all, creating community and fellowship. Everyone is better off, even robin himself, because he sacrificed himself with true love and charity, for others in need.

A lovely book. Not about Christ's birth, but about the real Christmas spirit.

The illustrations are lovely, friendly colourful and glittery. I would certainly gift this book to any child at Christmas.
