Another telling of the legend of Saint George killing the dragon. The version told here is closer to the Byzantine story where the hero refuses to marry the princess at the end and instead the entire town is baptised Christian.

The illustrations are unique, colourful and pleasant. The story-telling is simple and keeps to the basics of the traditional narrative. I wouldn't say this book is the most remarkable version of this tale that could have been written, but it is nicely made, simple, and the story itself is a wonderful one worth engaging with. For those who want the Eastern version of this tale this is a good book.
