This book tells the life of St. Seraphim of Sarov. It does not go into biographical detail however. The emphasis rather is placed on the ‘beatitudes’ - on how St. Seraphim’s life was pleasing to God. This book is an introduction to this incredible modern saint and it can be used as a talking point for learning more about the saint.

The full title of the book is: St. Seraphim Beatitudes: 'Blessings for Our Path to Heaven, based on the Life of the Wonderworker of Sarov'

It is beautifully illustrated by an iconographer and a real pleasure to look at. You will need to fill in the story with more resources however. This is not a bad thing. The book it designed to awaken wonder in the saint. St. Seraphim is an 18th century Russian saint venerated by the Orthodox Christian Church. The book is intended for Orthodox children, though, it is very beautiful and it can be enjoyed by anyone who likes traditional ancient Christian practices.
