The title tells it all. This book is a rendition of the bible in the form of a graphic novel. The action packed style that characterises the illustrations brings out the ‘action’ of the bible stories. The bible is indeed packed with ‘action and adventure’ and our illustrator brings this out. ‘Steel yourselves for action’ tells the introduction to the book.

This rendition is methodical and carefully made. I expect that it took Sergio Cariello a very long time complete this work. He took care to tell the story of the entire bible. This is not an abbreviated summary of well-known bible stories. To give you an idea, it is 750 pages long.

I have known children (mostly boys) spend literally hundreds of hours reading through this book. Children who are intrigued by the style of illustration in this book will certainly spend years learning the bible’s stories through this rendition.
