The Berenstain Bears series is an excellent series and we recommend any of their books. Stan and Jan Berenstain (later joined by their son) wrote books in this bear series for over 60 years. They have written books on most themes and of various complexities: from books for babies up to primary school. We mention some of them on this website that we particularly like, but all of their many books are a safe bet. If your children are intrigued by the bear family, then you can find books on any theme that interests them.

Some of their books are more explicitly Christian, though most are not. All their books howeverl have a sense of respectfulness, dignity, respect for other people, love of family, and appreciation for God’s creation. Their books are often poetic. This particular one is about the hard work of farmers and the beauty of farms.

It is an early reader book so a beginner can practice his reading.
