This is a book written simply and intended for early readers to read themselves. The story line is descent and the illustrations are colourful and engaging.

What makes this book worthwhile is its setting. It tells the story of a young boy and his family in India. Reading this book we see images from life in an Indian village. We see how children spend their time and how they help their families with work. A lovely simple book.
