An intriguing fairytale about a man who escapes death for a long while until it finally catches up with him. This book is written in proper 'folk story' style, where the reader is taken with the story, but cannot exactly fathom what it means.

The book deals with morality and time in a simple and yet deep way. It also has a non-violent way of showing that everyone is destined to a physical death.
