A very charming 'learning to read' book by the Berenstain family. Little bears get out of bed at night and go exploring until they come face to face with an owl. This book is poetic and humorous.

It is written with simple language introducing children to basic concepts such as out/in, under/over, through and around. At the same time, the story is full of anticipation. It is a calm and yet an exciting book all at once. I love this one. It is written to teach very early readers to read for themselves, at the same time, it can be read aloud to younger children. A great introduction to language.
