This is the first adult book I have read from the prolific writer Alexander McCall Smith, but I will certainly read more of them. It comes as one of many instalments in his detective series based in Botswana, though it can be read on its own.

Reading this book you will fall in love with Botswana, learn something about Africa, have interesting conversations and meet new friends. My favourite part are the conversations. It is relaxing to hear the characters talk openly about so many subjects that have become minefields in the English-speaking world. It is a breath of fresh air to hear friends discussing ideas freely.

A nice light-hearted read with loveable characters, many insights and an enjoyable setting.
