A beautiful story-picture book that tells about the importance of learning to read. A boy who does not see the point of learning his letter is taught by his aunt - not only to read but also to love reading.

The story is gentle and simple, yet profound. It is profound because it manages to depict wonderful truthful educational insights in simple terms. The characters and scenery are loveable. The illustrations are lovely.

The text is written with the intention of helping young learners improve their reading skills, but it gives them much more than that. A great book.
