Another picture-story book by Donaldson and Scheffler for those who like their style. Written in their usual humorous rhyme and illustrated in the familiar way - this is a story of friendship and family. We see here how the heart of a male (cat) is captured by his wife and family - and yet, his love for the friends of his youth are not lost.

A book characterised by the mellow happy-sadness of life and change. Lovely. Like many of their lesser known-books. Childish and yet: with something so much more.
