This book is simply remarkable. It is an awe-inspiring book. It is an exceptional book. All this is because it tells the true story (and it tells it well) of how a family and a group of scientists survived in unbearably harsh conditions during a failed arctic expedition.

This books brings forth what is best in human nature and human society, and it does so in a strait forward, poetic manner. There is  a lot to say about this book but I will let you read it first. I cannot recommend it enough.
