A story about a little Indian boy who longs to be useful to his community is not allowed to join a hunting trip because he is too young. Because of his eagerness and his kindness (friendship with animals) he ends up saving the day and rescuing the entire hunting trip when danger finds them.

A satisfying book about a boy finding his place and his worth in amongst his community. Charming and inspiring.
