This book introduces aspects of everyday life during the Roman Empire to primary school children. It does so from the perspective of two children.

The unfortunate thing about the book is that although it plays with the meaning of 'barbarian' it gets the meaning wrong. That part of it is a little sloppy. Besides this however the book is insteresting to read and teaches a variety of interesting historic facts.
