A lovely old-school learning to read book that teaches the concepts of number, colour and opposites.

It uses a 75-word vocabulary which it repeats creatively. The repetition is very well done and successfully teaches the words and concepts to readers who are inspired to read this book several times and effectively memorise it. Furthermore, because it is written so nicely it becomes a fun book of literature that does not feel like an educational book.

The illustrations are humorous and beautiful, reminding the reader of North America's golden era of children's literature.

An enjoyable well made book that children will want to learn with.
