The Railway Children is a sweet little story book with a storyline resembling The Children's Christmas Carol by Johann Spyri. Three siblings find them selves living in poverty after their father is unjustly accused and sent to prison. In their childhood gentleness and innocent they manage to befriend a stranger and save their ill impoverished mother.

It is a story with kind charming characters, hope and adventure. Like the characters themselves, this is an innocent and pleasant story where goodness prevails.

This book has been published many times over and any unabridged print will do.
