The title of the book yells out ´overly modern book that over psychologises the childhood experience’. I would normally avoid such books. Actually though, as the Scots would say: 'it's nae bad'.
The book's message is true and good: everyone matters. Everyone matters all the time (even when they don't feel like they do. In fact, the message is entirely Christian.
The illustrations are artful and playful. The colour choice give the book a 'children's classic' feel. The text is simple and to the point. A good book (actually...)
